Amina
Hi. My name's Amina. I've been teaching English for 20 years. Being assigned at different high schools in quite various regions of the country was a beneficial and rewarding cocktail of experiences. It also allowed me to explore students' regio-cultural differences, and bring my experience and travels to other countries here on board, trying to make my students aware of the diverse perspectives reflected in both the language and behaviors of the others. I also had the chance to represent Morocco on an American TV show "Worlds Apart," sponsored by National Geographic. I like reading and writing short stories, and I'm fond of theatre. The thing I like most about my career is my students. Being in a classroom with different generations is just renewing and refreshing. Isn't that "cool"?

Hassan Hassani
I’m Hassan Hassani, I’m married and I have two kids, Omar and Hamza. I have been a teacher at the ALC since 1992. I think it’s a good experience to teach at the ALC since I have often had the opportunity to implement useful teaching techniques and procedures with our ALC students. Moreover, the various supplementry materials and teaching tools have made my teaching more effective. Most of my students at the ALC are diligent and highly motivated. I do believe that variety is the spice of vivid and effective teaching. My hobbies are horsebackriding and archery. I also like to listen to Jazz and Moroccan andalusian music.

I've been teaching English in public high schools since 1984 and I ve been teaching English at the ALC since 1991.

Khadija Noor El Attar
My name is Khadija. I have been teaching at the ALC Meknes since 1989. I taught English a the Faculty of Law. I enjoy participating in seminars concerned with improving teaching and learning English. I also presented three workshops at the ALC Conference this past February. I am one of the very few Moroccan English teachers who participated in Japan in the Friendship Program between Africa and Japan sponsored by JICA. All these things have given excitement and flavour to my life and career. I have gone through the development and progress of the ALC. I can say that there is a huge difference between the ALC as it is now and how it was in 1990's. It is a resourceful center for both teachers and students. All we need is motivation and eagerness to learn and improve our teaching skills. So personally I think it is a pleasure and a source of excitement for me to work here.
Another good thing about the ALC is the creation of different clubs. I am proud to be in charge of the writing club. I think most teachers don't have enough time to teach students different skills and techniques to be good writers. Also students feel that writing is the most difficult task in English. Yet it's one of the most important parts in exams.
That said, I hope that students will benefit from the activities I try to provide them with and feel more at ease in writing reports, articles, letters, thesis and so on.
Finally, I think the ALC is providing many opportunities for students to master the language so good luck to everyone.
