The ALC Meknes first opened its doors in 1989, in a small apartment with only 200 students. There were only seven classrooms and no multi-media at all.In the beginning, there were six teachers and a guard.
Now the ALC has over 30 teachers, full-time guards, admin staff, and an accountant/project manager.
Our student body is nearly 2500 students from age 7 to age 75. We have a library, two computer labs, and air-conditioned classrooms equipped with TVs and DVD players.
It is an honor for me to work with the ALC. I follow three great directors: Larry McFall, whose hard work started the center here; David Neusis, a born teacher; and Tariq Alhadi, whose management led to many ALC improvements.
The ALC Meknes is like a big family to me. I hope that you, as you read this, will join our family. You’ll be amazed at how much fun learning English can be.

Registration usually begins about three weeks before a new term. You should always check our calendar to see exact dates.
What do we offer?
The ALC offers all levels from beginning to advanced, including TOEFL preparation and business English. We have classes seven days a week. From Monday through Friday, classes meet in the afternoons. On Saturday and Sunday, there are morning classes as well.
